Read-a-thon status:
Last day! I could have read a bit more, but I need to write
a review, so I declare the end of this read-a-thon, for me.
Challenge: Retitle Your Current Read hosted by Emily @ Oh Magic Hour
For this, your final mini-challenge of the readathon, I thought it would be fun if we all tried to come up with a new title for our current read, or really anything we’ve read during this Bout of Books 10.0. For me, a great title can really go a long way toward making me want to read a book and I thought it would be fun to play with that concept a little bit. Your new title can be something you ACTUALLY think would make a good title, or just something descriptive or something funny! It’s totally up to you!
I'm totally renaming for fun all the books I've read for this read-a-thon, minus the Evangelion omnibus, since I would never be able to come up with an appropriate title for that one. I mean, I love Evangelion, and it has its humorous moments, but funny, it is not, exactly.
- Promised: People that totally drive me nuts (really, Gaia behaves in a ridiculus manner sometimes... and the Protectorat is a poor, sad excuse for a leader)
- Empower: The one where I fangirl the hell out of Violet and Lincoln (just because they are awesome)
- Looking for Alaska: Pushing Daisies (because of the flowers' significance in the book, and because it's a TV series' title)
