The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 13th and runs through Sunday, May 19th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. And another Bout of Books read-a-thon begins! I missed doing a read-a-thon, so this one comes at a perfect time. It's good to have a week dedicated to reading, though the last few weeks already have been a bit like that. Therefore, I don't expect to read much more than, say, last week or the week before that, but I'll certainly try. I found it a bit redundant to do separate posts for signing up and stating my goals, so consider this both my sign up post and my goals post.
For this read-a-thon, my goals are:
- To read every day, and to read for at least a couple of hours
- To enter some challenges, and to make an update post everyday I enter a challenge (otherwise I'll make the update the next day)
- To try to socialize
- To read at least 3 books from Pile 1, and a few comic books and manga from Pile 2 (and maybe a couple e-book novellas, but that is still undecided)

EliminarEstou a fazer a colecção de Stars Wars e foi com agrado que descobri que as lombadas dos primeiros volumes tem o Darth Vader desenhado. Numa fotografia da colecção, antes de começarem a lançar a colecção, tinham o C-3PO nos primeiros. Seria bastante fixe mas melhor é com o Darth Vader! Tinha pensado em adquirir apenas os volumes dedicados aos clássicos (é um tamanho exagerado de colecção, esta) e penso e espero que vão ser os suficientes para o retrato completo. Saiu o nono e ainda falta o focinho, se tiver de comprar mais alguns faço isso. Sou assim com livros.
ResponderEliminarCurioso que tenhas um livro de puzzles matemáticos. Eu gosto desses puzzles e gosto de matemática. É um coincidência que tenhas um pois ando agora a fazer uns puzzles para um livro :)
Eu acabei por não me arriscar com a colecção, porque realmente era um investimento tão prolongado, e eu não sou assim tão fã de Star Wars... e depois sou como tu, a visualização da imagem nas lombadas ia-me incitar a continuar a colecção até ver a imagem toda, ou pelo menos uma boa parte. xD Nestes dois acho que ainda nem dá para ver nada, só aquele triângulo azul junto ao título/número. :/
