Challenge: Rewrite the Synopsis hosted by Faye @ A Daydreamer's Thoughts
Your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to take any of the books that you have read for this read-a-thon (or plan to read over the last three days), and re-write the synopsis just from the books cover. The aim is to make it sounding completely different from the original synopsis!

The Assassin's Curse by Cassandra Rose Clarke - synopsis
Ananna of the Tanarau abandons ship when her parents try to marry her off to an allying pirate clan. But that only prompts the scorned clan to send an assassin after her. And when Ananna faces him down one night, armed with magic she doesn’t really know how to use, she accidentally activates a curse binding them together.
To break the curse, Ananna and the assassin must complete three impossible tasks — all while grappling with evil wizards, floating islands, haughty manticores, runaway nobility, strange magic, and the growing romantic tension between them.

My synopsis
Ananna loves the ocean and dreams of captaining a boat one day, but she does not desire to marry into another pirate clan and be tied to a foolish fiancé. So she does the only thing that occurs to her: she runs away. But soon she is running for her life - the offended clan sends an assassin after her, who wields dark and deadly magic.

But she didn't count on setting off an impossible curse that binds her life to the assassin's, and now they are travelling half the world in order to figure out how to break the spell. Facing beautiful landscapes and unspeakable danger, they will have to complete three impossible tasks in order to get their lives back - if they can.
