Challenge: Book Spine Poem hosted by Cait H. @ Escape Through the Pages
One of my favourite discoveries to come out of blogging has to be the book spine poem. If you’ve yet to hear of them, the concept is simple – using books you have on hand, create a poem out of their titles. There is no theme and no set number of books to use, just whatever poem pops into your head and however many books you need to create it.
There is one rule, though. You CAN use extra words, but only as many words as you have books. So if you use 8 books like I did, you can use up to 8 extra words (I only used 6). If you used 10 books, you get 10 extra words.

So, here's my try... (I'm no good at poetry but this was fun.)

Challenge: Vampires in Popular Fiction hosted by Rachel @ The One With Rachel's Book
So, WHO are your favourite vampires? And WHY??  I want everyone to name one guy vamp and one lady vamp (and the books/series they are from, just so everyone knows), and explain why they have a place in your heart as your super most favourite vampires everrr. You will win bonus points for creativity of your explanations. "I love him" isn't a good enough explanation for me, I'm afraid. And remember, no one is wrong if they can explain their answer, but you can be more right than other people.

The lady vampire: I'll have to pick Pam from the Southern Vampire mysteries by Charlaine Harris. She has a strange sense of humor, she has quite forgotten her humanity, but she is loyal and fond of Sookie.

The guy vampire: This one is hard, but the vampire I'm more fond of would be Stefan, from the Mercy Thompson books by Patricia Briggs. He genuinely tries to be a good guy, and something in his personality strikes me as quirky and fun.
