Bout of Books 6.0 Read-a-Thon - Starting Post

Bout of Books Read-a-Thon
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal.  It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 7th and runs through Sunday, January 13th in whatever time zone you are in.  Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week.  There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional.  For all Bout of Books 6.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books 6.0 team

And here I am, signing in for another Bout of Books! I had so much fun last time, and it is good to dedicate myself to reading and to lowering my TBR pile. I plan on reading throughout the whole week.

My goals:
  • To read every day, for an hour at least
  • To enter some of the challenges
  • To update my progress every day
  • To try to socialize (eg. to visit some blogs, or to follow one of the Twitter Chats)
  • To read 3 books from the picture below (or other books I may feel like) and a few manga books

  • The Assassin's Curse, Cassandra Rose Clarke
  • Stolen Night, Rebecca Maizel
  • Angels' Blood, Nalini Singh
  • Darkfever, Karen Marie Moning
  • Looking for Alaska, John Green
  • The Crown of Embers, Rae Carson
  • Before I Die, Jenny Downham
  • The Future of Us, Jay Asher, Carolyn Mackler
  • Birthmarked, Caragh M. O'Brien
  • Gimme a Call, Sarah Mlynowski

  • Scott Pilgrim #1-3, Bryan Lee O'Malley
  • Astro Boy #1-3, Osamu Tezuka
  • Dragon Ball #1, Akira Toriyama

I that's enough for goals and books I'd like to read. :)

  1. Oh, nunca participei num Bout of Books Read-a-Thon, será que ainda vou a tempo de me inscrever?
Bem, eu «voto» no Stolen Nights e no Angel’s Blood. ;)

Eles fazem-me rir.
